Bespoke Kitchens in Chichester
Handmade kitchens designed, built and fitted for Chichester homes. Measured in your room, made by hand in our Sussex workshop.
Why a Bespoke Kitchen Suits a Chichester Home
Every handmade kitchen we make begins as a set of measurements taken in your own home, not as a selection from a catalogue of standard carcasses. That is what lets us do the exiting things such as putting a run of cabinets right into an awkward corner, working around a chimney breast, or making a pantry that fits inside an alcove perfectly.
Inside, you will find solid oak dovetail drawers, integrated utilities, pull-outs, magic corners, towel racks and cubbies, all specified around how you actually cook and live. Outside, it is your choice entirely: hand-painted framed doors, white oak with a warm stain, two-tone finishes, or something quieter. When we say bespoke, we do mean it.
Bespoke Kitchen Styles For Chichester Homes
Three directions we are asked for most often. Each one is designed from scratch for your room, so treat these as starting points rather dedicated ranges.
Framed cabinetry, hand-painted finishes and classic joinery details. A natural fit for Chichester's period houses and the surrounding village properties, where a new kitchen should look as though it has always been there.
Shaker and Traditional
Clean lines, careful proportion and fully integrated appliances. This works hardest in extensions and open-plan rooms, where the kitchen shares its space with somewhere people sit and eat.
Contemporary & Handleless
Prep, storage and seating in a single piece, often two-tone. It usually becomes the part of the room everyone ends up gathered around, so it is worth getting the proportions right.

Why Juniper Workshop?
When you work with us, you're investing in craftsmanship. Our kitchens are handmade by skilled artisans using the highest quality materials, built to last a lifetime. This level of attention to detail and construction isn’t always found in flat-pack options from larger chains.
We provide hands-on design advice and expert guidance throughout the process, ensuring that every decision, from style to finishes, reflects your unique tastes and needs.
Unlike the more transactional experience at larger retailers, you’ll have direct involvement with the design team, ensuring your vision is realised.
Made in Sussex, Fitted in Chichester
Juniper Workshop is run by Simon Smart-Foster, a joiner with more than 25 years in furniture making. Everything is designed and built at Truleigh Manor Farm in Henfield, around fifty minutes from Chichester, and fitted by the same people who made it. There is no handover to a separate fitting team, which is often where things go wrong.
We have worked across East and West Sussex for years, and have existing clients in Chichester and its villages. If you would like to talk something through in person, you are very welcome at the workshop. Just give us a ring first, as we are often out on an installation.
