Modern Shaker wardrobes take their lead from traditional Shaker furniture, a design that dates back to the 18th century and is known for its focus on simplicity, proportion and honest construction. In this modern interpretation, those same ideas are kept but reduced slightly, resulting in something cleaner and more suited to contemporary interiors.

The style is defined by its framed doors, balanced proportions and subtle detailing. The structure is recognisable, but the overall look is lighter and less ornate than traditional Shaker furniture, making it suitable for both modern homes and more characterful spaces where you want something that doesn’t overpower the room.

Each wardrobe is made to measure and planned around your space from the start. We look at how the room works day to day and shape the design around that, whether it’s a full wall of storage or something fitted into a more complex layout. The focus is always on making the furniture feel like it belongs in the room, rather than being added afterwards.

The internal layout is designed to make everyday use straightforward. Hanging space, shelving and drawers are arranged around what you actually need to store, with options for concealed storage and adjustable sections where required. The aim is a practical layout that feels easy to live with rather than overly engineered.

Finishes are fully customisable, from soft painted colours through to natural timber or oak interiors. The framed Shaker door can be detailed in different ways depending on how minimal or traditional you want the final look to feel. Everything is built with consistency and durability in mind, using high-quality materials and joinery throughout.

Soft-close Blum runners and hinges are used as standard, giving a smooth, reliable feel in daily use. Integrated LED lighting can also be added inside the wardrobe to improve visibility and make larger units easier to use, especially in deeper or darker spaces.
